About Alpha Omega
Alpha Omega is a sorority founded at Wilfrid Laurier University in 1993, and to this day, we remain the only chapter of our kind. What started with eight founding members has grown into a close-knit, values-driven community with over 400 initiated sisters over the past three decades. We are a student-led organization that empowers women through meaningful connection, leadership opportunities, and personal growth – all in a welcoming, judgment-free space.

Built on the foundation of Harmony Through Individuality, Alpha Omega celebrates authenticity, fosters lifelong friendships, and offers a supportive space where women can grow, lead, and thrive both during and beyond their university years.

While each sister’s experience is unique, the legacy we hope to leave is shared: one of connection, confidence, and a sisterhood that truly lasts a lifetime.

Our Motto
Harmony Through Individuality

Alpha Omega was established on the basis of this motto. This saying captures the belief that while individuals may share common values, it is their differences that create strength, growth, and true sisterhood. Our founders recognized that no two people are alike – and that embracing each member’s unique qualities, perspectives, and talents would foster a more supportive and united community.

Today, Alpha Omega continues to honour this vision by celebrating individuality and promoting inclusivity. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, financial status, social status, or sexual orientation.
