Breakfast in Bloom
Breakfast in Bloom is Alpha Omega’s annual charity breakfast in support of our primary philanthropy, Anselma House. This cherished tradition brings together sisters, their families, and members of the Laurier and Greek Life communities for a morning dedicated to giving back. It serves as an opportunity for Alpha Omega to highlight the fundraising efforts made throughout the year and celebrate the collective impact of our community.
Typically held in the late winter, 2026 will mark the first January edition of Breakfast in Bloom. The semi-formal brunch features a warm breakfast, photo booths, guest speakers from Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region, and a variety of fundraising opportunities. It is a special day where friends and families get to see the heart of Alpha Omega in action as we come together to uplift women in our community.
Funds are raised through ticket sales, raffle entries, and auction bids, with all proceeds directly supporting Anselma House. At the close of the event, Alpha Omega proudly announces the total funds raised for the term – a tradition that reflects our sorority’s ongoing dedication to local impact and social responsibility.
Breakfast in Bloom is more than just a brunch, it is a moment of connection, gratitude, and purpose, reminding us why service has been at the core of Alpha Omega since 1993.
